Empower Yourself, Empower Your Community

Get Involved

The Storming Caesars Palace impact campaign seeks to lift up and celebrate Black women’s work and the effective use of disruptive and democratic power by the most marginalized in our society. We are using the film as a tool to inspire and fortify the work of today’s grassroots community leaders by creating opportunities for dialogue with national organizations and legislators to build solutions from the ground up.

Our mission is to:

  • Counter the erasure of Black women’s contributions and restore dignity, celebrating their role in historic anti-poverty movements;

  • Foster dialogue around efforts to transform the low-wage economy;

  • Forge intergenerational connections among BIPOC and women-led organizations and communities; and

  • Empower a new generation of grassroots leaders

Community Change
Community Change is a national organization that builds power from the ground up. We believe that effective and enduring social movements must be led by those most impacted by injustice themselves. Since our founding in 1968, we have built the power of people most marginalized by injustice — especially people of color, women, immigrants, people struggling to make ends meet — to envision and fight for a society where all communities thrive.
